To meet the continuously growing demand for green ships and high-end Marine engineering equipment in the global market, HID Shipyard officially announced today the completion of a new round of scale expansion project. The total investment of this project is expected to reach 500 million yuan, marking a crucial step for HID Shipyard towards becoming a world-class shipbuilding enterprise.

This expansion focuses on three major directions: "intelligentization, greenization, and high-end". The core contents include

1. New super-large manufacturing workshops * : Add 8 workshops capable of simultaneously building 10 heavy dredgers, with an expected annual shipbuilding capacity increase of 40%.

2. The introduction of fully automatic steel pretreatment lines and robot welding clusters is expected to increase the efficiency of segmented manufacturing by 35%.

3. Upgrade green energy supporting facilities: Build rooftop photovoltaic systems and shore power access facilities covering the factory area.

Mr. Wang, the CEO of HID Shipyard, stated at the groundbreaking ceremony: "This expansion is not merely a simple addition of production capacity, but a systematic upgrade of the production model." We will rely on the digital twin platform and 5G industrial Internet to achieve full-process visual management from the entry of steel plates into the factory to the departure of the entire ship from the workshop, striving to shorten the shipbuilding cycle by 15%.

By then, the annual number of ships delivered is expected to increase from the current 18 to 26, among which the proportion of green-powered ships will exceed 70%. The project will also directly create over 1,200 high-tech jobs for the local area and drive the upgrading of the surrounding supporting industrial chain.
