HID anchor support vessel demonstrates its strength: efficient collaboration, safeguarding the construction site at sea.
HID Shipyard is proud to announce that our anchoring support vessel successfully assisted the general contractor in completing a key node construction 46 days ahead of schedule in a recent critical offshore oil exploration and construction project. This demonstrated HID's irreplaceable support capabilities in complex sea conditions, thanks to its outstanding dynamic positioning ability, powerful towing load and precise anchoring operation.
In the sea area of this operation, the ocean current is rapid and the underwater pipelines crisscross, which poses strict requirements for the control accuracy and operation coordination of the vessel. After arriving at the site, the HID anchor support vessel promptly established an integrated linkage mechanism with the on-site construction command center.
The HID anchor support vessel has further demonstrated its collaborative advantage as a "versatile hand at sea" in this mission. When performing frequent anchoring and ship relocation operations, the high-power deck cable-reeling machine equipped on board works in coordination with the shark clamp, significantly reducing the waiting window period during platform relocation. Meanwhile, the vessel has efficiently completed the safe transfer of pipes, materials and personnel by taking advantage of its excellent cargo deck space, effectively alleviating the inventory pressure on the main construction vessel.
The on-site project manager gave feedback: "HID's ships are not only 'powerful', but also 'well-behaved'." Their work pace perfectly matches our construction logic, saving a lot of communication costs. This is the true value of a high-quality partner.
The successful practice at this construction site once again confirms HID Shipyard's forward-looking vision in the design and construction of anchor support vessels - that is, not only providing equipment, but also offering an integrated waterborne solution for efficiency and safety.
