The "Large cutter suction dredger" independently developed and built by China's HID Shipyard has demonstrated astonishing operational efficiency in the Gwadar Port dredging project in Pakistan, with a daily dredging volume exceeding 90,000 cubic meters, providing strong impetus for the expansion project of this key port along the "Belt and Road Initiative".

At the dredging site of Gwadar Port, this cutter suction dredger manufactured by SCO HID is operating in a stable and efficient manner. This vessel is equipped with an advanced intelligent dredging system and a super-high-power cutter, enabling it to easily handle various geological conditions and maintain precise construction even in complex sea conditions.

"The efficiency of this equipment far exceeds our expectations," said Ahmed Hassan, the project manager of the Port Authority of Pakistan, on the spot. "The dredging task, which was originally planned to take ten months, is now expected to be completed four weeks ahead of schedule. Let's give a thumbs-up to Chinese equipment and Chinese speed."

In response to the geological characteristics and engineering requirements along the coast of Pakistan, the HID engineering team has made multiple adaptive improvements to the vessel:
