With the order to launch given, this brand-new bucket dredger, towed by a tugboat, smoothly slid into the water, accompanied by fireworks and applause, with a graceful posture, successfully floating at the predetermined berth. All parts of the hull were monitored on-site, and all the data met the design requirements. The launching was a complete success.

This dredger is a high-performance dredger that HID Shipyard has optimized for the unique geographical environment and Marine operation requirements of Kiribati. The ship type adopts an advanced shallow draft design and is capable of multiple tasks such as Marine engineering support and emergency rescue.
