SCO HID cutter suction dredger successfully exited to Vaud port.
A growing global population means there will be greater demand for safe, economical and sustainable logistics in the coming decades. The maintenance of ports, canals and waterways is an important activity for SCO HID and its customers. Since adequate port capacity is critical to economic growth, the maintenance of ports and their approaches must provide a constant navigable water depth. Maintaining water depth also helps protect river valleys from flooding.
The customer purchased the dredger for the dredging of the Port of Davao and the expansion of its own container terminal, with plans to further develop the local dredging market. Considering the cost and transportation safety, we maximize the use of containers to ship products to customers. To this end, we have made corresponding improvements to the product design and production program, so that most parts can meet the requirements of container transportation. For example, the float is usually two segments, but the product is designed in three segments; The traditional cab size would not fit in a container, so we specially ordered a detachable cab.
