The HID Shipyard's cutter suction dredger is basically completed, and the core "blade" reamer head has entered the precise installation stage.
Recently, significant progress has been made from the construction base of HID Shipyard. The key cutter suction dredger project undertaken by our factory has basically completed the construction of the hull structure and main systems, and has officially entered the installation stage of the most crucial core component - the reamer head. This marks another solid step forward for the high-performance dredger towards full assembly and delivery, as well as its involvement in major projects such as channel dredging and port construction.
At the installation site, the huge reamers were smoothly lifted to the predetermined position at the front end of the ship's bridge frame under the precise control of heavy lifting equipment. On-site technicians and the construction team worked closely together, strictly following the process specifications to make micron-level alignment adjustments to the connection between the reamer head and the bridge frame drive device, ensuring a perfect fit between the power transmission system and the cutting mechanism. The reamer head installed this time is made of high-strength wear-resistant alloy material and has been optimized in design according to the complex working conditions. Its powerful cutting capacity and reliability will become the core guarantee for ships to deal with various hard soils and improve dredging efficiency in the future.
As the "teeth" of dredging dredger, the installation quality of the reamer head directly affects the performance and operational life of the entire vessel. For this reason, the HID Shipyard project team, in collaboration with multiple departments including technology, quality inspection, and safety, formulated a meticulous installation plan and emergency response plan, and implemented full-process refined control in each link such as hoisting, positioning, welding, and inspection. The on-site engineer said, "We are ensuring that every connection point is firm and reliable with the highest standards and the strictest requirements, and every process can stand up to inspection, to turn this' steel dragon 'into a true dredging tool."
At present, as the installation of the reaming head progresses in an orderly manner, the subsequent pipeline system integration test, electrical equipment testing and the entire ship mooring test of the vessel will also be carried out successively. HID Shipyard will continue to uphold the construction philosophy of "striving for excellence and quality first", spare no effort to complete the subsequent construction tasks, ensure the project is delivered on schedule and with high quality, and add new impetus to promoting the high-end development of dredging equipment in China.
