The new generation of intelligent and environmentally friendly large cutter suction dredger independently developed and built by HID Shipyard has successfully completed all on-site installation, commissioning and system integration work at the important port dredging project site, marking that the vessel has officially gained the powerful capability to be put into actual operation. This is another major breakthrough achieved by HID Shipyard in the field of high-end dredging equipment manufacturing and on-site integration of complex systems.


The on-site installation project this time lasted nearly two months. HID Shipyard dispatched a sharp project team composed of design engineers, technical experts and senior technicians, and overcame a series of challenges such as the variable working environment at sea, the complex interface system and the extremely high requirements for installation accuracy. The core of the installation work focuses on the water connection of key parts of the hull, the precise hoisting and integration of the super-long pile bridge and the giant cutter head, the pipeline connection of the mud pump conveying system, and the comprehensive joint debugging of the advanced intelligent dredging control and dynamic positioning system.


Key breakthroughs to showcase hardcore strength:

1. High-precision maritime docking: Under complex sea conditions, the precise closure of the hull sections on water was successfully completed, ensuring that the integrity and strength of the main structure fully met the design requirements, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent installation of heavy components.

2. Core dredging equipment integration: A bucket bridge tens of meters long and a cutter head weighing hundreds of tons were successfully hoisted and integrated into place. This is the "core weapon" of the dredger, and its installation accuracy directly affects the dredging efficiency and performance stability of the vessel. The HID team achieved millimeter-level high-precision installation by using laser positioning and digital simulation assistance.

3. Full activation of intelligent systems: Comprehensive debugging of subsystems such as integrated dredging automatic control, dynamic positioning, power optimization, and remote monitoring has been completed. This system can automatically optimize construction parameters based on geological conditions, significantly enhancing operation efficiency and accuracy, while reducing energy consumption. It embodies the design concept of "intelligent environmental protection".

4. Rigorous testing to verify performance: After installation and integration, the project team conducted strict mooring tests and light-load dredging tests. All systems operated smoothly, and all parameters met or exceeded the design indicators, verifying the outstanding construction quality and system reliability of the vessel.


This dredger type is designed with advanced technology, integrating the concepts of high efficiency, intelligence and environmental protection. It is equipped with high-power cutter and mud pumps, and its excavation depth and conveying distance are both at the leading level among similar domestic ships. Its intelligent control system can significantly reduce operational intensity and energy consumption, and it is another important tool for implementing major national water-related projects and promoting the implementation of the "Maritime Power" and "Transportation Power" strategies.
