The trial voyage of the newly-built workboat at SCO HID Shipyard was a complete success.

Recently, a new-generation workwear meticulously built by SCO HID Shipyard for a customer in Oceania successfully completed a series of rigorous tests in the production workshop. The successful completion of this sea trial not only indicates that all performance indicators of the vessel have reached or exceeded the design standards, but also highlights the outstanding strength and exquisite craftsmanship of SCO HID Shipyard in the construction of high-end workboats.
Under the joint witness of shipyard engineers and classification society surveyors, the workboat successively underwent a number of professional tests, including the effectiveness of the main propulsion system, workboat maneuverability, speed measurement, vibration and noise monitoring, as well as the reliability of key equipment.
The hull dimensions are 16.5m × 5.5m × 2.4m. Its speed can reach 8 to 9 knots and it is equipped with a dual-propeller propulsion system, ensuring excellent handling performance even in narrow waters.
The successful completion of this sea trial is another milestone for SCO HID Shipyard in adhering to the concept of "quality first". The workboat will be delivered to the shipowner as planned after completing the final outfitting finishing work.
