The HID dredger has completed modular disassembly and officially set sail for overseas dredging projects.
At the HID dredger manufacturing base, a large cutter suction dredger has successfully completed the full system disassembly, packaging and loading operations. The first batch of modules has been officially dispatched to the dredging project site of a key port in Southeast Asia. This shipment marks that the HID modular design and detachable transportable dredger products have entered a regular delivery stage.
Before leaving the factory, the HID technical team disassembled the hull into more than ten independent units, including the main hull, left and right floating bodies, cutter head, control rooms, pump body assemblies and hydraulic pipe and cable boxes. All units were packaged in accordance with international maritime standards for rust prevention, moisture prevention and shock resistance, and were equipped with dedicated hoisting plans.
"Splitting transportation does not affect the reliability and installation efficiency of HID vessels." " The manager of the HID overseas project department stated, "Each module is pre-assembled and functionally tested in the factory. After arriving at the site, it only needs to be assembled according to the numbers and connected to the oil and electricity pipelines. It can be put into operation within a week." Compared with overall transportation, the modular solution can save customers approximately 40% of sea freight costs and significantly shorten the delivery cycle.
Since HID dredgers entered the dredging equipment field in 1989, they have delivered over 500 sets of various types of dredgers, with products covering more than 81 countries and regions in Southeast Asia, Africa, the Middle East and South America.
The HID after-sales team has also set off simultaneously and will complete the reassembly and trial excavation support of the first vessel on site.
