For a long time, a large number of deposition accumulations caused the reservoir to have serious siltation, and the function gradually weakened. necessitating urgent action to restore its functionality.
SCO HID, a leading manufacturer of dredging equipment, has undertaken this crucial project, leveraging its expertise and advanced dredging technology. The primary objectives include the removal of accumulated sediment and the subsequent expansion of the lake's water-holding capacity.
In 2019, Five HID cutter suction dredgers have been deployed in Asia's largest artificial lake for desilting and capacity expansion operations, the daily dredging capacity reaches 60,000 cubic meters.
By effectively desilting the lake, the SCO HID dredgers will not only restore its original depth but also mitigate the risks associated with reduced water storage capacity.
